The Stage II Development of Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope incorporating the new Dennis Johnson Branch Library is now complete and offers the community new and exciting leisure and recreational opportunities.

The Dennis Johnson Branch Library features a children's storytelling area, youth lounge, technology area, plaza area and Blacktown City's first drive thru book drop off point.
The expanded space for gym equipment and a designated cycle studio for 'Spin classes' are key elements of the gym extension. The social lounge also provides an opportunity for members to unwind after a work out and compliment the fun and social atmosphere of the centre.
The Customer Service Area of the centre was relocated to become the central service point for the new look facility and the retail outlet has been refurbished to provide a more integrated customer experience.
