NSW Indoor Rowing

The NSW Indoor Rowing championships will be held on Saturday 10th October 2009 at the Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope. The competition will commence at 10am with registration and weigh-in from 8.30am.

Race distances

  • 2000m Opens, Schools & Corporate
  • Individual 4min races
  • 1000m for Novices
  • Entry fee - per competitor per event
  • Entries close 5pm Thursday 2nd October 2009
  • Plenty of parking available

Location

The 2009 NSW Indoor Rowing Championships will be held at the Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope, located on the corner of Stanhope Parkway and Sentry Drive, Stanhope Gardens. For more information, please check out the Blacktown City Council website, www.blacktown.nsw.gov.au.

Parking/Public Transportation

Parking is available at the Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope. The car park is accessible via Sentry Drive. Please use the bays outlined - Illegally parked vehicles are subject to ticket fines and towing charges.

Public transportation is conveniently available - Trains have the Western Line from Central Station which stops either at Blacktown or Quakers Hill - Buses are available from both locations to the Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope, be sure to check the timetable for transport in advance of the event to make sure you can get where you need to be on time.

Entry Confirmation

Confirmation will be e-mailed only for all competitors submitting an entry form and full payment. Please ensure that you put down the legible & correct information on the registration form. Sorry - no refunds on entry fees.

Waiver forms are required from all competitors. For juniors (under 18 as of day of race), the waiver form needs to be signed by a parent or guardian in order for the junior to race. For a PDF of the waiver form, please click here. Juniors, please do not mail in your waiver, but instead bring on race day. All others will sign waivers on race day at check-in.

Weigh-In

Categories will be based on weight and broken into the following:

  • Men: Greater than 75kg and less than 75kg
  • Women: Greater than 61.5kg and less than 61.5kg
